G1 Office is the first boutique office building developed in collaboration with DEMIURG. While the exterior remains restrained in form and almost monochromatic, the interior is full of life. Intense colors, raw concrete, bold details, and the presence of art create a space that goes beyond first impressions – one that reveals itself gradually.
On a daily basis, G1 Office serves as the headquarters of DEMIURG in Poznań – a workspace for both design and execution teams, where architecture actively supports the creative process.
The interior was designed by the globally recognized studio mode:lina™, known for its consistent approach to materials and form. The dominant theme is uncompromising rawness: concrete floors and ceilings remain exposed, referencing the nearby bunker while paying tribute to the building’s structural honesty.
The walls also retain their structural character – concrete elements are exposed, while other surfaces made of silicate blocks are painted in cohesive, monochromatic tones, creating a strong yet ordered aesthetic.
Inspired by street art, a monumental graffiti wall runs along the open staircase connecting all floors. It was created by Poznań-based artists: Noriaki, Bart Sucharski, and Fresk.
At first glance, it appears raw, urban, even “dirty.” But upon closer inspection, it reveals layers of stories, slogans, and references to everyday life at DEMIURG. Importantly, the wall is not a closed piece – employees can contribute to it over time, adding new narratives and making the space truly alive.
We believe that office space should reflect the stories of its users. In G1 Office, details subtly reference the world of construction and execution:
These elements give the interior authenticity and emphasize its individual character – without stylization or pretense, rooted in the honesty of materials and form.
